Craftsmanship
Wood that holds you.
Most sofas hide their frames. Ours celebrates it, because the frame is the design.
The wooden skeleton follows the same digitally refined curves as our tables and chairs, creating an exposed structure that flows around the cushions. No sharp corners on the frame, a deliberate choice for homes where life happens unpredictably.
Sit down and the seat holds you. Settle in and the feather and down soften around you. Stand, and it recovers.

The palette changes.
Each year, ENWA edits its upholstery palette as a considered season. These five surfaces are available for Sora specifications confirmed through 31 December 2026. A new upholstery edit begins in 2027; Sora’s oak platform remains.

The platform is offered in Natural Oak or Charcoal. Both are solid North American oak under an ultra-thin matte lacquer; only the pigment changes.
Natural Oak
Both finishes are available to order at the same price. The finish is confirmed with the studio during planning, alongside upholstery and module count.
Custom made
Start with the room.
Sora is modular. These plans are starting geometries. The studio resolves the final layout, finish, upholstery and delivery path around the actual room.
Upholstery and oak samples are sent for Sora before a plan is confirmed, so the fabric and finish are seen in your own light.

Sora is built from three layers: a solid oak deck, cushions, and moveable backrests. Choose a starting configuration, then adjust the module count. All cushions and backrests are removable and reconfigurable.
Yes. The standard layouts cover most living spaces, but the modular system supports many other combinations. Talk to the studio to discuss a custom configuration.
Each sofa is made to order. Estimated order-to-delivery is 8–12 weeks.
Yes. Seat cushions and backrests are upholstered separately. You can choose fabric for the seat and leather for the backrest, or any combination you prefer.
Kvadrat is a leading European manufacturer of premium textiles for furniture and interiors, known for durability, colour fastness and tactile quality. Kvadrat is included as standard on all ENWA seating, with no upcharge.
Dedar is an Italian textile house producing velvets, bouclés and blends. Choosing Dedar adds a premium to the base price and delivers an elevated tactile and visual result. Karakorum bouclé is a popular choice.
Sora is designed by Mililab, a design studio based in Tokyo, as part of the ENWA collection of eight solid-oak pieces. Mililab applies the same edge geometry it uses in architecture to furniture, and ships direct, DDP, to 34 countries.
