Why DDP, not "shipping at cost"
DDP — Delivered Duty Paid — means Mililab handles international freight, customs clearance, import duty, and threshold delivery for supported destinations. Any destination VAT or GST that cannot be prepaid is disclosed and confirmed before payment, so the commercial terms are clear before you order.

What's included worldwide
Every ENWA order ships fully insured under DDP terms (Delivered Duty Paid). The standard delivery service includes:
- International freight from our production partner to your country
- Customs clearance and import duties paid by Mililab
- Threshold delivery — carrier brings the piece to the entrance of your home or building
- Full insurance during transit
Upgraded service — select markets
In-room delivery, unpacking, and packaging removal are available in select markets at no extra cost. Coverage depends on the carrier serving your address. Email studio@mililab.co with your delivery address before ordering and we'll confirm whether the upgraded service is available in your area. Where it isn't, we can recommend a local installer on request.
Delivery Times (after production)
Shipping time varies by destination, typically 1–3 weeks after production completion.
Shipping Costs
DDP delivery is included with every ENWA piece, to all 34 countries we ship to. International freight, customs clearance and import duty are included. Any destination VAT or GST that cannot be prepaid is disclosed and confirmed before payment.
Payment
Every piece is made to order. To begin production:
- 50% deposit at the time of order to begin production
- 50% balance due before shipping
We accept all major credit cards and bank transfers. You'll receive an invoice for the remaining balance once your piece is ready to ship.
Order Cancellation
Because each piece is made to order, production is scheduled as soon as your deposit is received:
- Cancel within 48 hours of placing your order — full refund.
- After 48 hours — an amount equal to the 50% deposit is non-refundable, as materials and your production slot are committed to your specific piece. This is the same whether you paid a deposit or in full: any amount paid above 50% is refunded.
- For deposit orders, the remaining 50% balance is only charged before shipping and is fully refundable until then.
Import Duties & Taxes
Mililab handles international freight, customs clearance, import duty, and threshold delivery for supported destinations. Any destination VAT or GST that cannot be prepaid is disclosed and confirmed before payment.
Import duty is included for supported destinations. If a destination VAT or GST applies, it is shown transparently and confirmed before payment. If you have questions about charges for your country, contact us — we're happy to help.
Returns & Exchanges
Because each piece is made to order, we cannot accept returns for change of mind. If something arrives damaged or defective, we will make it right.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your piece arrives damaged or with manufacturing defects, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. We will assess and arrange repair or replacement at our discretion.
Inspection at Delivery
Please inspect your furniture carefully upon delivery. Note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing. This helps us process claims quickly.
Warranty
Every ENWA piece comes with a 5-year structural warranty.
- Structural warranty: 5 years on frame and joints
- Finish warranty: 1 year on wood finish under normal use
- Upholstery warranty: 1 year on fabric and cushion construction
This warranty covers manufacturing defects, not normal wear, misuse, or damage from improper care.
Care Instructions
Solid Wood
- Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth
- Clean spills immediately with a slightly damp cloth
- Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading
- Use coasters and placemats to prevent marks
- No oiling or waxing needed — the matte lacquer finish is easy care. See our Care Guide for details.
Upholstery
- Vacuum regularly with upholstery attachment
- Rotate cushions periodically for even wear
- Blot spills immediately—do not rub
- Professional cleaning recommended annually
