Between
Stillness
and
Form.

Mililab exists at the intersection of Japanese sensibility and global vision—where wabi-sabi meets contemporary craft.

We are a design-led studio, collaborating with local architects worldwide to realize spaces that feel both timeless and alive. Our work draws from the quiet elegance of Japanese tradition—the beauty of imperfection, the poetry of natural materials, the power of restraint—while embracing the openness of modern living.

Every project begins with listening. To the site. To the light. To the way a family gathers or a guest arrives. From these observations emerge spaces that don't shout, but resonate—architecture and furniture that age with grace, revealing new beauty over time.

The Lab.

A design-led collective spanning Tokyo, Niseko, and Shanghai. We partner with local architects and craftsmen worldwide, bringing international perspective to each project while honoring regional tradition and expertise.
