About Mililab
Mililab is a Tokyo-based architecture studio and furniture maker, founded in 2020 by Livert Lim and Miku Wu. The studio designs buildings, interiors, and the ENWA furniture collection — a line of computational furniture where every curve is found by algorithm and finished by hand.
The studio's approach bridges architectural-scale parametric design with traditional Japanese woodcraft. The ENWA collection's signature detail — the edge paradox, a concave curve that looks sharp from across the room but feels soft under the hand — was computed using Grasshopper, the parametric modelling software standard in architecture.
Mililab ships worldwide direct from Tokyo, with completed projects spanning luxury residences, hospitality, and cultural institutions across five countries.
